October Books was represented at the ReadEasy launch on 24 Jan at the Mayor’s Parlour, Civic Centre. Readeasy aims to provide the best possible experience for adults who want to improve on their reading. October Books is keen to support the organisation and has offered space at the back of the shop for coaches and learners to meet in a safe and comfortable setting.
Southampton Clothes Swap will be in the community space in the shop on Saturday 29th January from 11.00 to 11.30. Have some clothes you have been meaning to pass on? Well come along and see what you can swap them for. Clothes swaps are £2 entry but if you feel you can't afford it, pay what you can!
