We are very pleased to announce that we are recipients of an interest free loan of £20,000 from The Co-op Foundation.

Here at October Books we’ve been horrified by the recently proposed ‘Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Bill’ which passed it’s first and second reading.
The MushRoom is a space for people who are active in their communities to connect with each other across the city, sharing ideas and resources, and improving our confidence and resilience in the work that we are doing.
We want to hear from you! Getting feedback, whether positive or critical, is important to improving how we do things here at October Books, and will ultimately help us create a better service and space for all.
One of our members and long term volunteers, Richard Cervantes, has kicked off his slippers and put on his running shoes in order to raise funds for the Covid Heroes appeal, organised by Southampton Hospitals Charity
