Book Buying Working Group: A Vibrant Update

Our latest rendezvous of the book buying group proved to be the most bustling yet, as a wave of fresh faces joined our seasoned crew. With a diverse mix of long-standing patrons, dedicated members, enthusiastic volunteers, and local bibliophiles, our collective efforts are meticulously shaping every nook and cranny of October Books’ literary repertoire. As we continue with our work, the hope is to ultimately represent a well considered cross section of October Books’ customer base. 

In our most recent meeting, we had particular focus on the sci-fi and politics sections. We are also considering new and exciting ways to continue to bring you increasingly personal and interesting book choices, and some of these changes will be reflected in the shop redesign, coming in May…

We are always on the look out for new suggestions however. We remain steadfastly open to fresh ideas and always welcome your input. Whether you're a seasoned member of our book-loving brigade or a passerby struck by a sudden stroke of inspiration, your suggestions hold weight.
