Sarina Wheatman believes addictions have a terrible reputation - perhaps for good reason sometimes, but the reality is that they are dangerous mental health illnesses which need particular attention. Her new book ‘Communication & Connection’ explains the intricacies of the disorder and gives new explanations and perhaps solutions for a very old problem. The book looks at some of the crazy mixed-up worlds in out of control using. It aims to help you understand what compels those living with addiction to act the way they do. There are answers. It starts just like this:

We talk – we listen – we change.

Communication brings understanding,

Understanding will only happen if there is connection.

Change brings healing.

Sarina Wheatman is a local Author/Therapist. Sarina works in a local clinic as an addiction specialist and also has a small private practice. Her books are all about ‘Changing Perceptions one book at a time’.
