Cooperative opportunities in gardening and growing

Come and celebrate co-operative gardening and growing opportunities with us here at October Books along with our friends at Co-ops Southampton and Southampton Friends of Co-operation.
It’s the official opening of our community garden and we’ll be celebrating with Mencap who have helped to create the space. There’ll also be many representatives from Southampton’s expanding community of gardeners and growers and we’ll have some demonstrations of gardening techniques and activities.
Please register via Eventbrite for instructions and to help us manage numbers in the shop. We are operating with Covid caution here at October Books, so please respect your fellow attendees by maintaining some distance. We are requesting that people attending events/gatherings in the shop please wear a face covering and take a lateral flow test on the day of the event - to ensure all people feel safe.
