Covid Precautions at October Books

Covid Precautions at October Books

Hello wonderful friend of October Books.

As we all know wearing face coverings in shops is now mandatory.

Covid cases remain high locally and nationally and our workers and volunteers are facing increased numbers of people in the shop during the run-up to Xmas. To help keep our staff, volunteers and community safe we are asking you to continue to leave that extra space, sanitise your hands and pull on your mask when entering the building.

We will continue to hold in-person events with covid safety in mind and do our utmost to try and make sure that people feel safe visiting us. We will be keeping the shop and community space well ventilated, asking those wishing to attend to register via Eventbrite to ensure reduced capacities, and requesting you to wear face coverings during events.

We understand that people are eager for things to return to normal, but with the current concerns over winter and the Omicron variant we need your help to ensure we can keep our doors open during OB’s most lively and prosperous time of year.

Thank you from all of the OB Team xx

We are open:

Monday - Saturday

10am - 5.30pm

We are back open six days a week, with the whole store open for browsing. We will still of course be taking customer orders and you will still be able to buy food and cleaning products online through our online store.

We are able to be open 6 days a week again because of your consideration and care whilst in the shop.
