Following our Take Off without Taking Off  event with Anna Hughes from Flight Free UK last month,  we have two blog updates from the event.  The first is that on the night attendees, and then visitors to the shop subsequently, provided some travel tips on a poster at the back of the shop, see below.  The second blog from the event is travel adventures shared by one attendee of the night and a friend of the shop has provided, we hope you enjoy them both.

  • Germany has a 49 euro all-in card for travel for one month, it excludes Intercity Trains, but includes all local public trains 

  • Climateperks.com - employers sign up and pledge to offer their staff at least 2 days extra paid leave if they travel over land or sea.

  • St Pancras to Southampton - go by tube to Victoria and then take the National Express coach, so much cheaper

  • Try to send luggage head eg by Evri
