author talk: New Hall by Jacqueline Tuson

Saturday 27th November

in shop - midday - free entry

Please register here via Eventbrite if you wish to attend so we know how many people to expect on the day!

Join Jacqueline Tuson in the shop to hear about her period romance drawing from family legend!

Kathy James is the nom de plume of the great grand-daughter of one of the central characters in New Hall. Based on family legend this “real life account” has been described as an exciting romp with historical authenticity. Fans of Bridgerton and Downton Abbey will adore this historical romance! The author will donate money received from the sales of this book to Rethink Mental Illness: a registered charity supporting those experiencing severe mental illness, their carers and relatives.

Writing under the nom de plume Kathy James, the author - Jacqueline Tuson - formerly taught English language and literature to young and not-so-young adults and went on to teach university education courses and training courses in industry and commerce.

Please register via Eventbrite if you wish to attend so we can manage numbers on the shop floor. We are operating with Covid caution here at October Books, so please respect your fellow attendees by maintaining some distance and wearing a face covering during this event unless you are exempt.
