Henry Normal and Nigel Planer - Saturday 4th November

Henry Normal and Nigel Planer - Saturday 4th November

We are excited to announce that we will be selling books at The Attic in Totton, for an exclusive one off event with Henry Normal and Nigel Planer. Henry will be promoting his latest poetry collection which has been a lifetime in the making and Nigel will be celebrating the release of his first book Jeremiah Bourne in Time.

Since ‘retiring’ in 2016, Henry has performed in eight BBC Radio 4 shows, which incorporate comedy, stories, and poetry. He is the founder of the Manchester Poetry Festival, which is now known as the Literature Festival, and is the co-founder of the Nottingham Poetry Festival.

In addition to his 1980s roles in the iconic TV series The Young Ones and The Comic Strip Presents, Nigel’s creative repertoire encompasses novels, plays, TV and radio scripts, and an extensive collection of poetry spanning over fifty years. His volume, Making Other Plans, compiles almost all his poetic works, inspired by the notion that "poetry is what happens when you're busy making other plans."

We will be selling and hopefully Nigel will be signing copies of Jeremiah Bourne in Time on Saturday 4th November from 7pm with an 8pm show start. Tickets can be booked here
