We are Action Hampshire Member of the Month

We are really excited to be Action Hampshire Member of the Month for October (a bit late in the day letting you know but we have been a bit busy!). Action Hampshire is a charity that enables and inspires people, organisations and communities to be the best they can be! Whether you are a large charity, a small lunch club, or a social enterprise they are a trusted advocate, who listens to communities and champions voluntary and social action.

October Books became a member of Action Hampshire last year, after Clare was on the Community Business Trade Up training programme that they ran in 2020. The training programme really helped us through the pandemic and gave us some great connections to other social enterprises in our region. We are really grateful to the Action Hampshire team for their support at what was a difficult time for everyone. 

Action Hampshire will be visiting us at October Books in early November, when they hold their Connection Event where there will be networking, inspiring conversations, and opportunities to connect  and where we will share the October Books story.

10am - 5.30 pm

We are open six days a week but if you want to order online you can do so here. Look out for our new website link where you will be able to browse and purchase books online… coming soon.
