Name: Liz Bradley (she/her)
Role: Membership Coordinator
Your OB Story: I came across October Books when I moved to Southampton in 2022, and loved the ethos of the bookshop and community space. I was able to join as a member that autumn, and started working for October Books in September 2023, with a focus on helping members connect to each other and the daily life of the shop. We’re a community-owned organisation: members have created an incredible legacy and have a vital role to play in the future.
Passionate About: As an author and former lawyer, literacy and advocacy are my twin passions, both of which are integral to the vision of October Books.
Recommends: Our range of children’s books genuinely has something for everyone, and the magazines we stock are a great way to dip a toe into new ways of thinking about familiar topics.
